Herald Of Ice Reflect Immunity?

I have checked this over over, the Herald Of Ice skill gem states clearly that its damage cannot be reflected and all i do is cold damage. I destroy every mob in normal maps but the second that i get even a percent of elemental reflect one shot and im dead instantly even though my damage should not be reflectable.
