Is brand useful for minion build?

I see several minion builds, even full physical builds, that just Armageddon brand, or something similar.
Do brands do anything to help minions? Wouldn't something like vulnerability be better? Just trying to understand brands on a minion build. Last bumped on Nov 9, 2021, 7:56:23 PM

Brands used to be a popular way to proc Elemental Equalibrium, but I'm not sure why they would be used in 3.16 for minions.

you could also link some of these builds. there *may* be an actual reason they use a brand setup

I see now, the builds I was looking at were linking Vulnerability with Armageddon Brand.

I use Arcanist linked with Vulnerability for bosses using zombies and skele's.
