Vile Toxins Support (Mechanical Question)
 In regards to the "Up to 9" Are we talking that that A) "5% More Damage with Hits" stacks 9 times B) 5& More Damage with Hits up to 9% More Damage with Hits I tried adding poisons onto an enemy in PoB and the numbers show roughly the same result. (as seen below)

It does 5% more for each application of poison, so up to 45% more. But that is only for hit damage. Your hit damage is garbage because you're scaling poison instead of the attack, so Vile Toxins isn't going to do much of anything for you.
It's meant more for builds that do the opposite. Apply poisons but scale attacks more. You don't need it for the hit damage (but more poison damage doesn't hurt). (Edit: But why it's showing lower hit damage for 8 poisons than 1, I don't know. Some other interaction occurring or a PoB issue maybe.) I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German. " I've never heard of a build that scales both hit dmg and poison dmg, or at least some kind of mix. I know Vile Toxic was kicked in the teeth last league and then taken out back and shot to death then buried with dog shit so I didn't think anyone even uses it anymore. Cobra Lash is another weird skill I've not played in a while that has some helm enchant that gives more "hit" dmg. But when it comes to poisons the hit dmg doesn't even matter I thought? |

"I didn't say scale both. For poisons, I simply said apply them. And there aren't many builds that simply stack poisons to interact with them to scale attack damage and effects and whatnot. That's literally what Vile Toxins (and stuff like the Cobra Lash enchant) is for though. It can definitely still be done and works fine, but why bother when scaling poison and plague bearer obliterates everything? I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German.
