Help! Can't destroy fractured wall (Niko's explosives)

So I am at a fractured wall in the Mines starter delve area. I am spamming dynamite to try and blow up the wall and all it does is say 'you can't go to this area from here' in the chat box.

I had the key bound to F5 and it was trying to teleport me or something else. When I rebound the key the dynamite worked as intended.
