Portals Closing Too Soon

I could have sworn that portals stay open for 8-15 minutes as they're tied with the instances. So I'm getting sick of my portals closing within 2 minutes of being in town. It's happened THREE times this league. Twice while I came to town during a Delirium encounter, if that matters. And just now, when I came to town to just sell off my full inventory. I was in town for maybe THIRTY seconds. Portal gone. The instance was wiped. I went back to the Foothills through the waypoint and it was reset. THIRTY SECONDS.

K... just happened again while I was writing that. Foothills portal gone. And that was what maybe 2-3 minutes while I wrote? I've literally NEVER had a problem with this in any other league. Jesus Christ *smh*

I lost 2 unique items when I was full.

Also, fortify doesn't even work on cyclone, or i'm doing something wrong.
I just had this happen to me. Lost my only map of that tier. Went in , completed about 10% of the map. Had a phone call that was no more than 3 minutes. Lost my instance inhideout.

Same problem here, i had 3 times closed portals this league. Im just selling some items and in 2 minuetes my portals closing. Cant understand why is that problem happens

This just happened to me. I was doing Crusader's citadel (entered the map one time), came back to hideout to sell stuff. While I was selling, all remaining portals closed and the influence was gone from atlas. I doubt I was in hideout even two minutes.
This has been happening in a lot of campaign zones as well.

For example, instances for The Aqueduct in Act 4 are only being opened for 5 minutes. If I create a new instance and immediately leave to check time remaining, I see 4m50s. I am currently playing on the Canada East server.

The game still advertises that instances stay open for at least 8 minutes. I think that 5 is too short, particularly if players go to town briefly with unfinished encounters.


The game sometimes incentivises players to mass spawn instances, but slower players and new players that just want to keep a single zone open keep having zones timeout. This can frustrate their experience with the game.
