Ping Anomaly

Hi! Forgive my English in advance.

There are a lot of messages on the forum today about problems with latency (ping). I have also encountered this problem, but it has an abnormal character for me. Here's the thing:

I play the Japanese gateway. Average ping 30. When changing locations, the latency can take high values (300 +).

For example: I just went through the maze, and in front of the boss room the ping was small (30 - 40). I entered the boss room and the ping increased (300+). I killed the boss, moved on, and the ping returned to normal values.

The bottom line is that the ping increases when the location changes and never again. I can stay in a place with a good ping as long as I want, it will always be smooth.

This does not happen all the time, I can change several locations in a row before I stumble upon this ANOMALY.

That sounds like the gateway you’re playing on is full and you’re being moved to a different one.

This isn’t something we can troubleshoot. You’ll need to wait for it’s capacity to be increased.

The reason for this is because GGG use Google cloud services for overflow server capacity at the start of a league. Unfortunately, googles peering isn't always the shortest route and it really affects the Tokyo gateway. Basically it's 50/50 whether you get a direct link to Tokyo or get sent all over the world via google.

I have the Same. I am in Latin America I have to connect to the washintong or texas server.
How can I solve it, I have since the beginning of the league without being able to play.
Well, this is what i have to handle and its just unplayable. It shoudnt be my connection. Had tested it while the latency was skyrocketing. Latency over 1000 to 8000 or even 10000? Come on...

Man i am having the EXACT same issues. To a T! It has never happened before scourge and the atlas update, and does not happen with any other internet activity. Only POE maps. Extremely frustrating

But, i suppose it will be a problem with all of our connections, at the exact same time under the exact same circumstances. With POE maps being the only common denominator
