Windows Sound issue on poe

I'm contacting you about an issue that I never encountered before 3.16, I have about 250 hours on poe.

I'm actually encountering an issue while playing on poe only, sound goes down when Windows is on the game and goes up with an alt tab again and again..

This is very embarassing while my music is dropping all the time playing poe.

I precise again, it's only on poe! My Windows settings is OK (communication one about % of sound decrease precisly)

I hope someone will have a good news for me with work around or something like that, if the issue is known..

This happens to me also. Really annoying. Click off PoE to my other monitor and sound comes back. Seems completely random this has been going on for multiple past leagues. Doesn't happen in any other game.

This problem is becoming so frequent I cant even play the game. Ive nearly missed exalt drops. Not that Ive gotten to Sirus yet but I cant imagine fighting him muted. A crappy 'fix' to this issue Ive found is to set PoE to one of my monitors. Only 1/2 works. However PoE sound wont drop when playing through my Asus monitor but everything else will. Switch to my speakers everything is muted, switch to my LG monitor muted, switch to my ASUS monitor as sound device POE sound comes back.

Sound is going through my on board Realtek audio.

I can't believe there hasn't been any response on this from the developers yet. It's really annoying because every time I start Path of Exile, all sounds in the background (specifically music that I play from browsers, Spotify or Winamp) just turn to shit. It's like the bass disappears and the sound quality goes down as soon as PoE is in focus. But if I tab out of the game the sound quality comes back and disappears as soon as I tab in again.

I've tried changing all settings I know of in Windows and in game, but nothing seem to work. Also tried the launch commands through Steam, -ns and -swa but I don't think they're related to the problem since they did nothing as well.

Just want to play without the sound being compromised, like I did last summer when I tried out the previous league.

I am currently having this issue. No idea how to fix it.

I changed sound device to one I don't use - but still getting sound level changed

I play without sound (only loot + whisper) and play music in the background.
And when switch back to the POE window - sound level jumps
