explode = consuming a corpse ?

do explody effects, like inpulsa, obliteration, punishment etc count for things like soulwrest, necromancer corpse stuff etc?

Three year ago, an auto-summonr of Phantasms used Bubonic Trail, and got a new phantasm at each new step.
I'd say yes, Explode = Consume |

^thought so as well, but punishment seems not to work.
maybe just because even if i cast the curse, the kill was done by a minion, so maybe the explosion/consuming was also attributed to the minion (?) Unknown rule type: SetFondSize

Id assume it works with skills that specifically mention corpses (detonate dead, bubonics), but the on-kill explode effect like inpulsa or infernal blow does not count as exploding corpses.
