Delete Migrate All

I accidentally migrated all my SSF characters when I only intended to migrate one.

Please make it practically impossible to migrate everyone, even accidentally. Maybe have a confirmation dialogue that makes you type migrateall or move the button to an obscure place, so you don't absent mindedly confirm to migrate all because you didn't realise you clicked on migrate all instead of migrate.

Or just delete the button because no-one really needs it

Migrate All isn’t just about characters - it’s also used by level 1 alts to migrate progression.

With respect, I do not agree with your suggestions. What happened in your case is unfortunate, but the possibility of a mistake being made isn’t sufficient reason for changes to be made. People have accidentally vendor’d equipment they wished to use - should selling previously used items trigger such a confirmation prompt? If so, I can imagine levelling characters getting very frustrating in short order.

People are only human, and humans make mistakes. It’s how we learn, and I don’t think it’s possible for the game client to prevent us ever making a mistake. I also don’t believe the trade-offs that would come with the devs attempting such would be worth it. It’s unlikely you’ll make this mistake again.

Moving it to a more deliberate place doesn't affect mass migrations. Having it more complex to migrate all Vs migrate one doesn't hurt any mass migrations.

I can think of several. One is that if the one of the migration-related buttons was moved from the immediate proximity of the other migration-related button to "an obscure place", people would no longer find the button where they expect it and assume the functionality was no longer available. It is just inherently less intuitive - and therefore objectively worse - user interface design.

Would you like another reason?

A confirmation dialogue seems warranted yeah.
