Awakened PoE Trade Overlay (Bannable?)

I've seen this tool being using by nearly every streamer now, but I am personally afraid of getting banned because of it, I have seen several people posting here and on Reddit stating they were banned because of it.
While I have never really had an issue price checking items, I can see how it could speed up this process for me a lot and just make it way easier. Im worried for my account if I try it, I've put a lot of time and money into it and I think losing it would devastate me pretty badly. But at the same time im getting some FOMO if it is just benign and accepted by the devs. I was the same way about PoE trade back in the day and now it's just part of the game. Can anyone offer me some peace of mind on this subject, it's been really bothering me. Am I making it harder on myself for no reason? Im worried I could get banned because what's ok for streamers isn't always ok for the little man. People of the gutters, steel your bellies, for the slaughter is at hand! " I've used it myself for over a year without problems. I would take those claims with a pinch of salt, it's way too easy for people to get banned for botting and such to try act all innocent in an attempt to get their ban overturned. The way it works is by monitoring the clipboard, so when you ctrl + c on an item to do a price check it reads that info from the clipboard rather than interacting with the game client itself which would indeed be unsafe and could lead to a ban. I would not use it myself, i do not really see the utility of it anyway.
If you want accurate price checks you can not just ctrl+c. It is 100% bannable if you read ToS btw, it is just likely that you will not get banned for it because it is popular and not that strong of tool. I can do the price estimates from my head and be more accurate than macro. For example you can have legion jewel worth 500ex and it does say "20chaos" or your wand has +1 life on hit so it does tell you "5000mirrors" because some troll priced it at that. Bunch of scammer accounts lists 1500Pdps swords at 2chaos and never sell, now your will be estimated to be 2chaos or less no matter the roll. In the end the automatic price you get is 99% of time wrong, at that point what is the realistic utility of this macro? But well, nevermind that I just remembered that this is exactly how i make currency every league, people underprice god-tier items just because macro does say "1alch" on 6link perfect roll uniques. So ehm pls recommend it to your friends. Do not forget that poe trade pages also support premade searchs(templates) so you just add the numbers (and the numbers should never be the actual numbers you've rolled) Like your 901pdps dagger may be found as 1000ex because you've put the numbers exactly but there can be 900.5 dps dagger for 10chaos orbs sitting there for weeks and your stuff will sell never or slowly. Meanwhile you could have upgrades and many item flips for this currency you got stuck in this dagger. So just have one ring, amulet, 1 handed, 2 handed, bow, wand, armor, shoes template and fill that. 0% risk of ban, 100% more useful than macro because you will actually learn what matters, also prevents scams that the fake listings create. How often do you realistically get something outside of such generic template? Once per league with large luck? You can do that manually just fine(takes like 15seconds), and i'm pretty sure that when influenced gg item drops you will know that it is not worthless after first 2seconds. 158intelligence 90life amulet with 13% intelligence increase is just something that does not take genius to see that would not be bad for intelligence stacker. "int" enter "int" arrow down enter "life" enter type in numbers enter if this does take you more than 15 seconds then you need to play less and type more. I feel pretty, Oh, so pretty,
