Trickster Escape Artist Passive and the "Energy Shield from Body Armour" Belt mod

Hi, I'm a Trickster with Escape Artist passive and a Hyrri's Ire chest. Am I going to benefit from the belt modification that grants greater ES from my body armour, even though my base body armour piece isnt providing any ES but rather the ascendancy passive? Tough call what to put on for gearing. Thanks!

The belt modifier only affects the ES you directly gain from the body armour.

The source of the ES from Escape Artist is your ascendency, not your body armour.

Thanks. That's what it looks like to me too. Ouch! Lol. I'm wearing a +2 proj Hyrri's Ire corrupt 6L, so looks like I will have to get a little extra ES somewhere else as that belt mod isnt going to do anything for me.

the belt's shaper mod is only "global increased" anyways, so we are talking here about ~150 ES, which hardly makes any difference..
