BPL: Dark Ages

Community streamer ThisIsBadger is hosting an exciting team vs team private league this weekend with some interesting rules to shake up how you play Path of Exile! Check out the trailer below:



League Starts: Aug 27, 2021 4:00 PM (EDT)
League Ends: Aug 31, 2021 4:00 PM (EDT)

This event is open to everyone although there is a cap of 600 players per team (1800 spots in total). Slots are currently full, so there is a waitlist to get in, but if you're interested in joining the waitlist or watching the event live then check out the Dark Ages website here.

Path of Exile: Royale

Yesterday, we released a JSON file that will allow tool creators to work with the Royale exclusive passive skill tree. If you're a tool creator and missed it, you can grab the JSON here.

Also, don't forget that Royale starts again this weekend! Here are the latest Royale-related changes from it's last patch, 3.15.2:

• The size of the Royale Island has been increased by 50%.
• Disconnecting from an in-progress match now grants experience from your death to the players who most recently attacked you within the last 5 seconds.
• The out-of-bounds debuff now stacks for every 10 seconds you stay outside of the play area.

Community Podcast with Chris Wilson

This week, Chris Wilson was to appear on a community podcast hosted on GhazzyTV's channel, alongside community streamers Grimro and Crouching_Tuna. Unfortunately, due to time constraints we've had to push this back to next week. The podcast has been rescheduled to September 2nd at 8AM NZT. We've made a countdown for you here. Preach Tries Path of Exile!

Twitch streamer Preach tried out Path of Exile for the first time this week! We love seeing players new (and old!) to the game exploring what Path of Exile has to offer. One particular thing we get a kick out of is players reacting to the passive tree for the first time. Take a look at Preach's reaction to it below:

Hideout Competition

Last week we announced the start of a new Hideout Competition! Entries close on the 12th of September, so you have just over two weeks to enter! We've had a lot of amazing entries so far, and can't wait to see more of them!
