"Wondering the same thing and im not even using spells that have effects since im playing melee. For me i find the bright areas way to bright, maybe its just me but im pretty positive my monitor brightness is also set to 50% which is extra weird because it should be very vibrant. Dark areas are nice for me. Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in!
