I need a list of every Nvidia control panel setting that's best for this game! Please help.

Where is that list? WHY has nobody made this list yet?

The nvidia control panel, yes. What to turn off, what to turn on, every single option, listed.

I don't want a list mentioning some basic stuff like to only switch to the nvidia graphics.

The nvidia control panel has 20 settings. So far nobody on google or youtube mentions the best fps for each option, on or off, What???

I've done every forum post to boost fps, so far I went from 30 fps to 80 last night, woke up this morning & my poe config file wasn't saved, so I dropped back down to 30. I believed it was other reasons. Later I saved the config better. So I went to forums & yt vids looking for ways to best boost fps. Their suggests? Well it dropped me to 20 fps & gave me a black screen, plus froze.

I finally got it back to 45 fps, still now tho my login button or all the buttons at the starting screen, they freeze for 60 seconds whenever I start the game now. Which hasn't been an issue this whole week of playing. Also my stash items when switching tabs, blurr for a few seconds.

I don't know what I tweaked to make that happen. Peoples suggestions are so flawed its been a frustrating day. People suggesting shit like " oh click disable fullscreen optimization or override high dpi settings. NOPE made my fps worst. Oh try allowing more than 1 core to run the game, NOPE made my fps worst. Try using the x64 progam startup. NOPE the x64 exe freezes, compared to the regular poe startup shortcut. " Hey use the preffered emphasizing on nvidia 3d & set it to performance " NOPE made my fps worst.

So now I'm left with trying to undo all the bullshit advice people gave. So I can hopefully get back to last night's 80 fps, after I fixed the config from not saving the no_shadows edit or fullscreen back to true.

Yet still the Nvidia control panel has 20 options to turn on or off & I don't know what I'm doing. I have to keep clicking 1 option, running the game, restarting the pc, just to get an idea. Literally 9pm & I started at 1pm doing this stuff.

So if you can't find a list of Nvidia control panel preferred options for fps.

Then atleast guide me on how I can stop my login screen from freezing for the 1st 60 seconds of every start up. Or from my items blurring when moving tabs.

Some dude in chat was like " that's not a gpu problem, that's a hardware problem "..... NO it's not a hardware problem, if I was getting 80 fps last night with the login button working fine...

I have never had to tweak a game this much EVER to get above 30 fps. & I've played alot of pc games in my time. I was getting a black screen when alt tabbing, I fixed that now. The I'm still missing 40 fps & want my login screen to not freeze till it allows me to click login 1 min later. Want my items to not blurr when switching tabs. & my frames from not spiking once awhile, while running around.

I wish I knew what nvidia settings I had last night, till I switched it back to default. Also I'm not sure if " use advanced 3d settings " or " let the program decide " is best. I do know that " use my preferred emphasizing " isn't the way to go.

P.s. now for some odd reason, of setting nvidia options to default again, my characters aren't even rendering, they look blurred as heck at character select.

Now it's even worst....

Game freezes at startup nearly for 2 mins, doesn't allow me to alt + f4, then when I get in game, I'm getting 10 - 30 fps. Still blurry items in stash too.

(also yes I'm editing the global settings, the regular default client, & the x64 client with the same settings, all listed with Nivida 1080 ti)

P.s. once again this has nothing to do with my laptop & everything to do with some type of settings, maybe not nivida settings, but some type of settings somewhere. As I've been playing fine all week at 30 fps, without login freezes, or fps spikes, or blurred items, or alt tab issues.

Then like I said after editing the config, I went to 80fps last night, now that's ruined from lame advice on the internet. & from the config file not saving, before I did all this extra stuff. Shoulda just fixed the config file save & never tempered with anything else...

I have spent 11 hours on this now!!!! 11 hours of stupid peoples fps boost advice, only for the game to run worst than it was 11 hours ago. 11 hours of tweaking. I have never seen a game get WORST from trying to improve fps due to others suggestions.

Heck I'd rather have my measly 30 fps I had all week... than what it is now... frame spiking, longer load screens, log-in chars blurry half the time, delayed login button when starting the game, blurry items, & whatever else.

Like I said I managed 80 fps all last night. (till this mornings unsaved config file / than later more tweaking for bonus fps - which obviously didn't pan out)

[Removed By Support]" oh but GGG is a small team ", their cash shops earns thousands of more dollars than Plenetside 2's cash shop, if not WAY more than that. Even Asmongold advertised the game recently.

Heck I started this game a week ago & already spent 100$.. because the cash shop is so overpriced. Yet PS2 runs 1,000 times better, I've never had to do stuff like this in over 3 years of playing that game. This is horrible, already tired, day is over, didn't play at all.

I nearly tried reverting & redoing every setting I could think of.. still no luck. Yet I still know it's not the laptops fault, it's some settings fault - plus this amateur games optimization.

Tho If I was getting 80 fps last night, & haven't had graphic spike or blur freeze issues all week, then I'm still gonna try to get back there.

P.s. I still can't tell if the problem is these checkmarked boxes on the both exe's compatability tabs, the nvidia image settings, or the nvidia 3d settings??

Now I got it to where the login buttons, do not freeze at startup. Fixed 1 thing.

Yet the chars at character selection aren't rendering (hasn't been the case all week of playing)

for some reason I get a black screen now for 1 minute before I get to town. getting 10 - 20 fps..

Calling it a day, for freak sake man.

Is this game made out of a box of sticks?

I turned hardware accelerated gpu off, have tried it with game mode off or on, no luck. Pretty sure I get better fps by afew with game mode on. But neither solves this issue.

It seems like I've restarted the game with every compatibility tab boxed checkmarked or un-checkmarked.

At this point, even the settings aren't making sense, since it seems I have tried both options on or off of every setting out there?? Tho idk.

These problem didn't start till I tried to boost my fps with peoples advice, with these settings. The 30 - 80 fps jump was mainly only a config edit, the no_shadows one, left unsaved. But these extra problems, were non existent until defaulting back to old nvidia settings or messing with the compatibility tab on the game's exe's.

One of the guides earlier today said to edit msconfig, boot, edit processors from 1 to 8. So I did. Then after these problems. I reverted it back to 1 processor.

Tho at this point I'm not sure what will help. I've reverting back to where I started this morning, yet it's still worst than I started this morning, somehow.

Like I said it's not a hardware problem, so I don't need to list pc specs, the games already proven to run at 30 fps with no issues all week & then 80 fps last night, all night long.

i think i never litterly used the control panel in the past 15 years to change anything other then to litterly force Vsync to be off since i hate the option.

When posting about this stuff could be good to post what pc speccs you runnuing with since this league they made hugh optimzation changes to the vulkan API so "lower" end PCs are probably struggleing
