Mirror Arrow - uses bow/quiver, but not skill gems in bow, right?

I haven't been able to find the answer to this one, explicitly, anywhere, but imagine that, were skill gems considered part of the bow, it'd be significantly overpowered.

assuming that my assumption is correct :-) ...I'd love confirmation of my understanding that the clone gets none of the dmg conversion which I created for my weapon (via skill gem [ice shot], passive nodes, and/or gear).

if my bow/quiver (without/before skill gems) has phys dmg only, then the only way the clone will have any dmg conversion is via "minions convert damage" somewhere or via support gem linked to mirror arrow, yes?

thanks a caboodle! :-)

I remember, long time ago, someone tried to theorycraft a Blink Arrow Null's Inclination build, based on the fact that the clone uses a copy of both your bow and quiver (if any), thus gets all the boni inside them, included eventually damage conversions and other unique modifiers.

I don't remember if that theorycraft actually made into a real build, and I don't remember if MA/BA's clones have been reworked in all these years.

One thing I can say for certain: the clone will only use auto-attacks, regardless of what you have socketed in your bow, or your quiver if you use a Maloney/Ornate Quiver
thanks!

and do you think (or know? ;-) if my subsequent conversion assumptions are correct?
oh, and if I may add a related, more specific, question:

when void shot is triggered by barrage, the reduced dmg of barrage should not apply to void shot arrows, right?

thanks again!
Minions are only affected by anything that clearly states "minion", their own skill gem, supports to their own skill gem, your shield if you have Necromantic Aegis on.
Clones, since they also use a copy of your quiver and bow, are also affected by modifiers on them.

Thus, if you passive have a Phys2Cold convertion, this convertion is NOT carried to the Minion. However, supporting a MA/BA with a Physical to Lightning support will convert (or try to convert as much as) 50% of its physical damage (either attacks or spells, assuming they deal physical damage) to lightning, and any "Minion converts damage" will apply to those minions' attacks and spells whenever possible.

As for the Void Shot question, being Void Shot a completely separated skill than Barrage, then its damage effectiveness is not applied to Void Shot. If you are actually meaning Barrage Support, the only way that support would affect Void Shot is by socketing it into the Voidfletcher quiver - which so far is impossible.
great, thanks!
(it's encouraging to see that I seem to start having at least some rudimentary understanding of the mechanics :-)
