Arcane Capacitor doesn't grant Arcane Surge with Totem kills

Hello

I am using totems, i allocated Arcane Capacitor on the tree, but for some reason i do not get arcane surge when they kill mobs

It's 10% chance, so it should be common, i tested for few hours and never seen a single arcane surge icon or effect, i was looking at the Mana regen from the character panel too and it didn't change at all

So it's not a visual bug, the passive clearly doesn't work at all

No. Your Totems use your skills, which is why some people will use the slightly-wrong-but-nearly-always-correct rule of thumb "Totems use your offensive stats." But they are fully separate entities that are not your character. So the most that could happen is that the Totem itself gains Arcane Surge... which will do nothing because it doesn't have Mana, and because it uses your Skills and not its own Skills it won't benefit from the more Spell Damage bonus because it's essentially reading your Spell Damage.

or you can use cwdt or something. triggers now cost mana so can be used to get arcane surge
