Cannot progress Expedition quest

UPDATE:
I now (Act 8) dropped a log book and within the expedition map an Ancient Kalguuran Text. So this is NOT bugged but it's definitely not well explained.

My Expedition quest line is stuck in Act 3. I've got "The Lost Expedition" quest there, but expeditions don't spawn in Act 3 for me anymore so I cannot find the Ancient Texts. I'm level 48 in Act 5.

I can still get the normal expeditions to spawn in Act 5 but no questline whatsoever.

I have the Kalguurans in my hideout and clicking on Dannig brings up the Expedition Map slot but I don't have anything to put in it.
