Shavronne's Revelation prevents ES recovery from Pious Path

Shavronne's Revelation, in the left ring slot, grants "You cannot Recharge or Regenerate Energy Shield". Pious Path on Inquisitor grants "Consecrated Ground you create causes Life Regeneration to also Recover Energy Shield for you and Allies".
Based on this wording, I would expect Pious Path to allow you to gain ES even with Shavronne's Revelation equipped, since it is generic recovery rather than regeneration. However, as shown in the video below, this does not work. Either Shavronne's Revelation should not prevent this, or the wording on Pious Path should be changed to "also Regenerate Energy Shield". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFNKjnK7kME EDIT: Have tested Pious Path in a "Players cannot regenerate life/mana/ES" map, and it doesn't allow you to recover ES. This likely means that Pious Path doesn't bypass no regen in general, so I'd like to propose that the wording be changed to "also Regenerate Energy Shield" to clarify this. " You are correct that regen is a type of recovery. However Pious Path does not provide ES regen, it provides generic ES recovery (which Shav's does not disable). |

In other words:
Hence by analogy you can see that "You cannot Regenerate Energy Shield" is doing the same thing that "You cannot Regenerate Life" does, but for Energy Shield, because nowhere in Pious Path does the fact of the Recovery coming from Regeneration stop being the case. " I see the point you're making, but I disagree that it's supported by the current wording. If this explanation is correct, I'd argue that Pious Path should say "to also regenerate energy shield" instead of "to also recover energy shield". Also, a friend of mine tested Pious Path with the "Players cannot regenerate life, mana, or energy shield" map mod a few leagues ago, and they said that they were still able to recover ES. I'll test this again once I get a chance later today. If it is, that would either mean your explanation is incorrect, or the map mod is behaving incorrectly. |

Not sure if this conclusively proves that Pious Path doesn't bypass no regen though - it could be that not having life regen is what causes the ES recovery to not function?
