I love the automatic use of flasks
Before I only used potions while campaigning or during very specific situations: Like using a +defense flasks just before entering a busy heist room or +movement speed flasks to cross empty parts of a map.
I just hated flask piano and refused to do it myself. I would never even consider playing the pathfinder before. Now will I finally use potions(assuming getting right orb roll on flask costs less than 1 exalt/potion) No matter how hard they Nerf flasks, they will still be way stronger than not using them at all(like I did) I'm even considering playing the pathfinder because I love his new skill. Well done GGG ! Last bumped on Jul 17, 2021, 9:11:17 AM

The risk is that the automation trigger is random, and we have no idea how many of the new currency will drop. It's going to be pretty annoying to have a good flask and have it un-useable until you manage to get the right trigger.
If that turns out to be not so much of an issue, then I agree that the triggers could be good. |

I’m in the same boat, flashing only occasionally. This change is nothing but profit for me.
EDIT: Flasking, not flashing :) Thanks for all the fish! Last edited by Nubatron#4333 on Jul 17, 2021, 6:34:28 AM

" Chris Wilson said something like, "It'll be like GCPs [sic]. Nobody complains about qualitying their flasks in endgame, like, nobody." So, unless the head wasn't talking to the shoulders, the flask orbs should drop fairly frequently - frequently enough that by the time you're gearing up endgame flasks you won't have to drop too much currency on them. "GCPs are a very rare drop though, and the only reason they're accessible is because of the various recipes that make it so. |

" I wrote [sic] because I'm pretty sure he just mixed up the quality currencies in his head and he meant to say Glassblower's Baubles. Need game info? Check out the Wiki at: https://www.poewiki.net/

" Same here. I absolutely despise flask piano and have always believed it to be detrimental to the game as a whole. As much as half of your build's power came from piano vs no piano. This change is incredible. I've heard countless saying you can't get defense anymore with nerfed flasks, you can't get block cap without Rumi's etc. These people have absolutely no idea, because they have been carried by overpowered flasks for many years. They literally don't know any better. This actually proves my above point and empowers the upcoming change. I could give you 2345 more reasons, but this should suffice. Carry on my waypoint son, there'll be peace when maps are done.
Lay your portal gem to rest, don't you die no more. 'Cause it's a bitter sweet symphony this league. Try to make maps meet, you're a slave to the meta, then you leave. |

" Yeah it is important this instilling orb is not too rare. If it is very expensive will people wait until they get a near perfect flask and might casualq be unable to get it at all. BUT because their goal is reducing the gigantic advantage that the flask piano players have over others do I guess it will be pretty common. More casual players are after all the ones least likely to flask piano, making instilling orb expensive would defeat its purpose. Last edited by kolpo#5585 on Jul 17, 2021, 8:54:53 AM

" Right you are. I doubt it'll be very uncommon. It might be expensive only to get the best rolled flasks, but it always was, even before the changes. Ideally rolled Quicksilver, Stibnite and Quartz flasks were selling for between 20-50c last league, anyway. Carry on my waypoint son, there'll be peace when maps are done.
