[schwarzenegger voice] it IS a tumor!
two tumors, in fact. just got the news that my mother has two tumors on her ovaries. in terms of lifetime count these are tumors two and three, she had a pretty large brain tumor when I was a child that, when removed, left her deaf in an ear and with partial facial paralysis. that one was benign, and these brand new ones are of a type that tend towards being benign as well. so that's good. "good."
makes me take a step back and re-evaluate what I've got going on, as far as health goes. there's cancer and diabetes on that side of the family. just good ol' cancer on dad's side, tho! not doin too hot physically and my diet's whack. are tumors hereditary too? shit, I'm gonna be 31 in a month. need to do some push ups. maybe after I get the cast around my broken hand removed tomorrow, I will. but anyway yeah this fucking sucks. my three dads (I am not joking) are all varying shades of shit to mediocre, so if this takes a turn for the worse I am going to be frustrated. |

" biological father nutted in mom and left two years later first stepdad routinely beat the shit out of me and mom and she got a divorce when I was like 8 second stepdad was alright mostly growing up, he's a bit of a conspiracy nut now tho so talking to him for any significant amount of time gets into weird waters |

Most people are a bit of a conspiracy nut these days.
But that was mostly a letdown. I thought you meant three dads simultaneously. What you described is a bit closer to two ex-dads, one of whom is The BioFather. Confusing to me that you'd even include first stepdad as he sounds like a piece of shit (no offense to you). Ah shit that's some GGG-esque RNG for your mom.
I hope the public health situation is stabilizing enough for her to get prompt treatment so whatever is brewing in there, doesn't have a chance to decide it's going to be difficult. And that you have the resources and time to get it done. Keep us posted. [19:36]#Mirror_stacking_clown: try smoke ganja every day for 10 years and do memory game

"Yeah. It should go without saying that my selfish desire to see Jerry Springer type drama is irrelevant in comparison to having everything go well for you and for those you love. But just in case it doesn't go without saying, I'm saying it. I should probably say stuff like that more often. " You might have a higher risk for that as well as for diabetes. Talk to your doctor about it. Of course avoid nicotine and alcohol, both are toxic to every cell and alcohol really gets to every cell in your body due to it´s molecular structure. Sports like jogging, marathon (not with overweight-->knee problems), cycling, hiking or other endurance sports are generally good. When it comes to diabetes, also get some advice concerning nutrition from your doctor. Also about screening/prevention concerning tumors. Take any documenented diagnosis in your family to your doctor. With some lung tumors in your family smoking would be pretty stupid, with gastrointestinal tumors alcohol and most probably beef instead of fibres would be stupid, just two examples. All the best for your mom... obey - consume - marry and reproduce - submit - watch t.v. - trust the internet - conform - do not question authority - sleep - buy - do not think - die

Good luck to your Mom, lost mine when I was 30.

Best wishes to your mother.
I had a cancer scare last year. They found a tumour the size of a grapefruit that hadn't been present in a CAT scan I'd had a few months earlier and initially they told me it had to be cancer in order to have grown so quickly, but after it was removed and biopsied it turned out to be benign. |

" To my (rather limited) medical knowledge, there is supposedly a higher risk of getting cancer if one of your close relatives has (or has had) cancer. Problem is, that nasty little shit can come out of nowhere. One type in particular that people should be wary of is black skin cancer (or more scientifically, malignant melanoma). If you suddenly notice any dark spots appearing on your skin that you didn't have there previously or you got some moles that became darker, grew in size or have a weird or irregular shape, you should probably get them checked. Sooner rather than later. That type of cancer can grow rapidly and is one of the more aggressive types (as in, it spreads sooner and further than a lot of other types). Source of knowledge on this part: The doctors who told me all that stuff after they removed one of those fuckers I luckily noticed very early on from the sole of my foot. They can appear just about anywhere. Also, apply sunscreen. Sunburns increase skin cancer risk drastically or so I was told. I make dumb builds, therefore I am.
