LISZT

this man's fro is absolutely majestic and the way it dances hither and thither as he plays this wonderful piece is a true display of art
Man, you must be really butthurt about the post in the other thread not getting any replies. Although I will admit there isn't much I wouldn't do if it involves using the phrase "this man's fro is absolutely majestic ".
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.
fun fact: "Liszt" means "flour" in Hungarian.

o I thought up both ideas for the thread at the same time
I don't mind if threads get no replies, I like using these forums as a dumping ground for random thread ideas

well I suppose in a sense I do mind in that having a thread with no replies while seeing any number of views lets me fine tune other shitposts into the future to make those ones more worthy of replies

either that or my posts are so good that they are leaving people speechless, which ain't happenin

you could say I don't mind emotionally
I just want everyone to know that it's okay to be butthurt sometimes. Having a strong urge to cope isn't an indication that you're some inhuman monster, but that you're human and have human feelings.

I'm often butthurt myself. For probably two whole weeks after the election, I was so high on copium that I dabbled a bit in unironic conspiracy theorizing. You might say this is embarrassing, and it certainly wasn't my proudest moment, but it's common for the losing side in a presidential election or primary to come up with rationalizations on how their candidate was cheated. It's thoroughly normal.

What isn't okay is being butthurt forever. Gotta take that tinfoil hat off and move on sometime.

That's an amazing performance. The piece seems like it was born of some drunken challenge to see how many notes you can cram into just a few bars. That look on his face when he finishes it says it all.

You're not off the mark at all with your assumption. That particular etude was actually written for violin by Paganini. Liszt decided "let's take this hard violin etude, transcribe it to piano, and make it harder".
