The Melee Witch Build - Mini Guide

Hello guys. So i made this character based on the new melee gems.
This build is good to SC and to HC. This witch is not that good early game, so you will suffer a bit, but don't worry at lvl 60+ you will just crash everyone.

So how this works?

Well, you will use the following gems:

Double Strike -> Faster Attacks -> Melee Splash -> Life leech -> Increased Area of Effect -> Add Chaos/Lightning Dmg

Molten Shell - Faster Casting - Increased Area of Effect

Leap Slam - Faster Attacks

Enfeeble - Vulnerability

AND YOUR GODLY AURAS

Clarity -> Discipline -> Wrath -> Anger -> Haste -> Grace -> Hatred -> Purity -> Arctic Armour*

Anger is not necessary but wrath save one socket of your double strike link. I like chaos damage but you could replace it for More Physical Dmg or etc.

Pros:

Very Good at Late Game
Can run MANY auras
High killing potential

Cons:

Very weak early game
You will suffer with dexterity

Build:

PS: Just get the elemental dmg nodes at Templar tree if you'll be using Wrath and Anger.

SC:



HC:



For late game you'll be using a high phys sabre and with AS.
Meginord's Girdle is also very good for this build.
On the armor you'll use a pure energy shield one, to get more mana to auras and arctic armour.
Also, your gear need to have some mana regen too.

For early stages of the leveling you can level up with ele cleave,just grabbing the more damage you can till you get a good weapon on cruel. Or with whirling blades and fire traps.
Enfeeble is a must for the early stages of the game too, since you'll be very fragile.

Why not go for elemental hit?

Elemental Hit is very good yes, but i'm showing you guys what i did. i could use elemental hit but i didn't have the gem at the time.

Going to try that, bored with my useless "tank" marauder -.-

I might eventually try to reroll a caster marauder but something tells me it's not going to work lol.
