magic wand vendor recipee not working ?

hello guys
i'm trying this recipee : magic wand + ruby ring (fire res) + orb of alt and i expect a wand with added fire dmg bonus but it doesn't show up instead offering 4 wisdom and 2 scroll frag ... has it been removed from the game, or am i missing something ? Last bumped on Jan 20, 2024, 11:09:36 AM

You sure the wand is magic? Shouldn't be getting 2 scroll fragments unless it's a normal wand.

"The recipe works fine--just tested to be sure. You're definitely using a normal (white) wand and not a magic (blue) wand (4 wisdoms and 2 frags is what you get with a normal wand). You need to upgrade the wand to magic rarity with an Orb of Transmutation, then try the recipe again. And it doesn't matter what mods the wand gets from the transmute upgrade. It just needs to be of magic rarity. I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German.

I Am still struggling with making a smouldering wand. I have tried with a non magic wand (white) and with a magic wand (blue) but they both just give me shards when i try to sell them with a ruby ring and alteration orb. I am definitely over lv 11 so should be stuck from level cap. I cant see any recent posts about this so wondering if its been removed or if its because im on ps5 rather then pc?

Also, the lowest tier is Heated, Smouldering is the second lowest tier
