Syndicate/Betrayal/Jun Farming HELP!

Curious what the best strategy is to get the most Jun's possible in your maps. Watchstones, Atlas Passives/Zones etc. Not going to buy master seeks help that will ruin any profit.

I am not an expert, but it seems pretty straightforward to me. There are only two Regions that have Betrayal passives, and they're both pretty clear on their use-case - Haewark provides more Betrayal turns; Valdo's provides faster rank-ups. If you want to go hard into Betrayal, you should probably fully spec both of those trees (maybe skip Bribery, the item-drop option, in Haewark, depending on what your goals are).

Looking at what the fan-datamined mods for Titanium (Master-based leagues) Watchstones can roll, it looks like the story is pretty similar there:
https://poedb.tw/us/mod.php?cn=BaseItemTypes&an=Titanium+Haewark+Hamlet+Watchstone

Again, the mods seem to be tailor-made to whatever use-case you're trying to solve by farming Betrayal. #% more likely to be accompanied by reinforcements seems great since it addresses all use-cases (loot, intelligence, rank-ups). Chance to gain an additional Rank probably doesn't stack with the Valdo's passive since it's worded the same way, so that's a brick - you'd want to roll the +Rank chance in Haewark if you want that mod. There's also #% increased chance to be Jun if you're running low on Master Missions.

Checking Sextant mods on that fan-maintained website is a little more arcane to do, but it looks like the "Area contains Jun" enchant starts appearing from Prime Sextant and up: https://poedb.tw/us/Prime_Sextant#Sextant

So, putting all that together, with the disclaimer I'm not actually an expert - intuitively, the best choice would be:

1. Run only Haewark and Valdo's; spec all Betrayal nodes (skip Bribery if struggling with rank-ups)
2. If willing to spend a ton of Alterations: Get 4 Titanium Watchstones for each region and roll whatever Betrayal related mods you like (Master Mission weighting, add ranks, add EXP, add loot, add reinforcements)
3. If willing to spend a ton of Prime+ Sextants: Roll "Areas contain Jun" on at least one watchstone per region every 3 Maps (15 if using Elevated Sextant).

One of the more common ways to do this is to:

- Spam haewark hamlet with watchstones for an increased chance to gain jun missions. You won't use master missions while doing this.

- After having obtained a few missions you'll switch to valdo's rest with the watchstone modifier "Immortal Syndicate Members in Areas are x% more likely to be accompanied by reinforcements" and actually use the missions.

You won't run out of missions while still progressing safehouses in haewark hamlet and you'll rank up syndicate members quickly through valdo's rest.

Additional info:

- watchstone-effect, additional master missions, a chance for synthesis/guardian maps and everything related to Sirus will be a nice bonus from uncharted realms since you'll complete a lot of maps.

- Sextants are completely optional. I'd use them if I'd care about XP.

- Essences in haewark hamlet and metamorph in valdo's rest add a lot of value to your maps while barely increasing the amount of time invested per map.

- Don't forget to favor a map from both zones.

Oh hold on, Favourite Map system affects all Map drops? For some reason, I thought it only affected Map drops within that Region, making it pointless if one didn't have a Map they liked more than others within that region.

This changes a lot of things for me...

I can't tell if you're serious(I thought this is common knowledge?) or not but just in case:

Yes, favouring maps affects all map drops with very few exceptions.

Usually I'll triple favorite a single T14, T15 and T16 on my entire atlas. Currently I'm not really playing specific maps. That's why I chose to favorite canyon(T15) and atoll(T16) to sell them in bulk for ~10c a piece.
