Soul of Abberath/Mephod Upgrade + Fire Trap Burning Ground

Hi,

Is Soul of Abberath (10% increased movement speed on Burning Ground) and Fire Trap's burning ground supposed to (not) interact?

Per Fire Trap's Skill Description, it creates Burning Ground, but while standing on it, I don't see a movement speed increase on my character sheet.
