Need help with harbinger farm

Hello.

After years of vacation, i'm back to POE.

I discover new league specific gameplay and fine, let's try them ... Harbinger look fine, let's try it, go check youtube video (on 3.14 ofc) to know what it is and make profit and fun.


Make everything like youtubeurs, sames watchstone, even more juicy maps, same scarabs ... and drop absolutly nothings.

After 50 maps on valdo's rest with scarab + zana 4c cost + T14/15 juicy map + watchstones ... I get exalted shard on something like 15/20% of my maps.

Even when i'm lucky and get 4/5 harbinger kings in one map ... 0 fraking exalted shard ... some harbinger kings sometimes don't event drop a single chaos shard ...

Ofc youtubeurs pump numbers up for views ... but man, what am i doing wrong?


Metamorph farm that should be a side revenue give me 10 more cash (and fun), what's wrong?

GGG shadow nerfed haringer between 3.14 release and now?

How many exalted shards per map do you think is reasonable?

Reasonable I don't know, but 3 shard every 4 maps for a 12/14 chaos invest per map is clearly not enough :/

I just wanna understand if I do something bad or didn't understand something, because right now I loose cash everytime I try to farm harbinger :/

by youtubers you mean streamers? well there's your problem right there. you can copy what streamers do but the outcome wont be the same. "streamer rng" is not such a tinfoil hat thing anymore after recent events

I know ... but from "6ex per hour" (ofc I didn't expect to farm this AT ALL) to "lose 70 chaos per hour" ... man, there is something wrong

I read every patchnote/hotfixe between 3.14 release and now, absolutely nothing about harbinger nerf ... what are you talking about?

Ofc, big nerf in 3.14 release, but I'm taking exemple of videos ON 3.14, not before !

i cant speak to farming strats in 3.14 but

Diplomatic Escort now replaces one Harbinger with a King Harbinger instead of a group of Harbingers.

this was a huge nerf to valdo harb farming from its state in 3.13
