Is the harvest socket craft meant to override the heist weapon enchant?

Hi,

I was just playing around with harvest and was curious to see if the change socket colour would affect the heist weapon enchant and it did for some reason.

I tried using the bench craft to change a socket to blue but it won't let me so I assume this interaction isn't intentional?
