delve stops scaling at 6k, and rewards should extend beyond 6k and be juiced to justifying 100s of hours, a community has been killed.


Shallower delve is worse for fossils than many other pieces content.

Feedback:
Since the changes to delve I think its in an overall unenjoyable state, I think marginally buffed rewards at lower depths is a
step in the right direction however one major issue is the nodelength right now is far too long it makes pathing excessive and means your node per sulphite feels a lot less rewarding essentially undoing the above buff.

I find it strange other league mechanics drop more fossils than delve does which feels contrary to what was suggested the reworks would do.
I am aware resonators and rarer fossils are largely and practically exclusive to Delve, however considering how weak most of these fossils are since migrating their power to influence or nerfing their tags makes it feel worse.

Considering Delve is frankly one of the most interesting concepts ever made in an RPG Im not flattering I believe it to be true, I think making it rewarding in lines with the economy and powerlevel of other mechanics would help make it compelling.

Deep Delve, I think this should be rebalanced from the way it currently is more linear in progression and I honestly believe the 6k scaling limit should be removed this gives full time delvers a further chase goal to reach and makes it competitive among enthusiasts, after long discussions in Deep Delve communities it is for the most part not worth it to go deeper than 3k-4k for rewards but most attempt for 6k to negate the scaling from mods. The rewards are no longer noticeably better deeper you can see this in charts posted by multiple users since the change. It is also no secret these builds are extremely expensive to make viable some exceptional players have done this SSF and with budgets in prior versions due to harvest and berserk etc.

Gameplay loop of deep delve, the playstyle and strategies required to Deep delve are some of the most technically interesting aspects of any game I can think of.

Mods matter, nemesis and cannot be slowed is an example of truly challenging content when white monsters have a shaper+ worth of hp. This is why prior to nerfs, players with near perfect gear still enjoyed to go deeper or some players actually opted to stay at 5900 the hardest depths to play at. Please have a look at Skcloudy, Xalhinha, CrouchingTuna and Casie for the really interesting gameplay elements of deeper delving.

I know its better to start with a blank slate and the nerf is justified especially in a short span of 3 months but I ask please consider changing somethings to engage those interested inthis really awesome aspect of the game.

Access to sulphite is better than ever but a source for guaranteed sulphite would be great for players wanting to delve as a break or spin off from mapping. I dont want to backseat develop but something along the lines area contains additional sulphite deposit in an atlas region. This also makes delve earlier in an economy to be a worthwhile pursuit rather than when scarabs become available.

Please dont ignore this and give it at least a fleeting glance.

In my opinion deep delve should be rebalanced from ground up so it checks zero-hp builds with unavoidable damage to a point where only builds with balanced offence/defence brigs you further. For me it would be very interesting to see which character builds that have both good defence and offence would get deepest.

make delve an actual real thing pls.
i enjoyed playing delve till i hated getting sulphite...

haven't touched since delve league(the voided one). it was a blast! but getting the sulphite wasn't worth it to me x'D still fun to do and the rewards are pretty neat also the exp u get is pretty big. the chances only effect the deep delvers x'D

maybe a tl/dr be handy didn't read more than ur title tbh x'D

Yeah, it's honestly kinda derpy. There must be some way to make deep delving harder other than scaling monster damage to unreasonable levels.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

I put aside the Deep Deep Delve to express the frustration of many players:

At 300-600 depth the sulphite cost is insane and the rewards very very poor. It has even become a joke on the discord where I am.
Delve is by far my favourite content in poe but please developers think about increasing the rewards for these depths. I was hopeful when I saw the patch note 3.14 but nothing has changed unfortunately. I love Delve and will continue to play it but alas if I'm breaking even or have freed up some profit to upgrade my build it's already good.

And you What do you think ?

I used to love Delve, but exactly this league killed it for me. I'm not that harddigging as some delvers, I just enjoyed to dig around 200.. and all times before, it was fun and profitable to delve. In every league before. Even in this now much serious depth it was good. But in 3.14 it become quite barren. I just doesnt believe they buffed upper delve. Feels like exactly opposite. Never remember Delve been so poor as in Ultimatum. From other things, just one example: I have 2 chars 90 and 96 lvl, both lvled in delve mostly and.. not even a single exalt droped there! This is just out of any rng for me. And I visited all currency nodes and I clear all walls checking all sides.

This is total RIP Delve for me.

Just bring back OG Delve - Dark farming at 300 MPH with pathfinder - underground fossil mods and all. Was actually fun. Dont farm it anymore. I was never a deep delver tho like hung out around 250-600 so that my prospective. Worthless.

If it wasn't for a couple recipes I need (SSF player) I'd never go there.


So much is like this now. Just annoying AF but you have to do it. Jun Unveiling, mines, etc. That why I only made like lvl 12 this league lol. Game is actually annoying with such heavy nerfs to league mechanics and like 10th edition of Breach now.

If they can do that, we wouldn't have suffered from being one-shotted out of no where all those years. So it's not that they don't want. They can't.

PoE2 will fix all that, I promise.
