My biggest goal, bringing a very old build back to life.

Hello Gamers,

I am a long time PoE player, i started in June 2013 and i always copied build from creators. This is frustrating since i never created something myself but i have a goal. I want to bring a very old build back to life.

Since the game offer so much now i am very confident that i can make this work.

For some of the OG's out here you may remember, or not, the Mjölner Lightning Strike ARC build from Etup way back in the days. RaizQT has a video of the build but it's quit some time after and the video doesn't give the build it's full credit.

It was for me and to this day, the most fun i had gameplay wise so i am determined to make this work. The biggest problem is, after copying very famous build for years, i realise that i don't know much about the game at all. Very frustrating again.

I still have some direction i want to go, i want to use a shield for exemple, i want the build to be tanky enough. I don't want it to be a 4k life Andy. I was thinking maybe Inquisitor? for the items i have no idea other than the Mjölner and maybe an Inpulsa? never used one and it seems so fun.

Back in the day, the main issue with the build was it's single target. It had incredible clear speed for it's time but i was not the best for bossing, it was Molten strike for single target. I do not particulary want to keep using this.

So here i am, asking the community for any help to make this build work again, i would very appreciate any direction, gem, items and such. Thank you very much in advance for any help given.

eZen I remember this from way back, it's still possible, even more so now. I'm honestly terrible at working out specifics, but I ran a quick once over on the idea through the community fork.

This was a generic idea running it low life, but that's how I imagine a start could be possible.

Mjolnir works again but its played with cyclone and ball lightning cast on crit and arc in mjolnir.

A couple streamers tried it out in ritual. Swapping arc for storm call or ball lightning helps single target

Path of Building, if you have not used it yet, is very useful for updating builds. It lets you skip the math that we used to spend hours on. Now you just spend the same amount of time generating item stats in the editor. Progress!

My goal for the last two leagues has been updating the cast on death boss killer and trying to make a very passive heist character that can just run around without needing to spend time clicking on enemies.
