Adding beasts through Bestiary Orbs does not unlock corresponding craft

Adding Fenumus, First of the Night to Bestiary through use of the Bestiary Orb did not unlock the corresponding craft of Aspect of the spider to the Blood Altar. I did uncheck Hide Unusable in case there was an additional beast required.

I thought this was intended because you are supposed to get the portal beasts to go run them to unlock the recipes?

At least thats how its always been.

Also having this issue. Bought a fenumus, thought I added it to my blood altar but nothing is there, not even in the unchecked list.

It's literally never been like that when you buy it off someone.

same here, i bought 2 beasts, can't use them. :(
I am doing this since last 3, 4 leagues now... this league I can't.

It's literally never been like that when you buy it off someone.

It is in 3.2 you need to capture yourself first to unlock the recipe instead of just take a shortcut to buy everything

Thanks for your report, we'll look into this.

apart from i guess i have a bug when i capture a trash beast in 3.14, it unlock all recipes including the 10 new one , and the portal to cat domain and the aspect of cat recipes that i never have before....


Didn't the recipe was designed to be unlocked via self capture first and then account bound and carry over to next league, but not unlockable via buying a beast that you never captured and thus never have the receipe?

Did i miss the change in patch note somewhere in 3.5 or during 3.2?

Any update on this one? bump, my build needs aspect of the spider. :(

still busted. wasted my orb. :(
