Can you please double check that there is a file named PathOfExile.tmp within your Path of Exile folder? If that file is there, please remove the PathOfExile.exe file and rename Client.tmp to be Client.exe. If that file isn't there, please let us know.

There is indeed a file called PathOfExile.tmp in my poe filder.

Odd thing is, as soon as i cut pathofexile.exe out of the folder, the client file also vanished.

I tried putting pathofexile.exe back in the folder again, but with same outcome as before. Same error message.
I tried removing the PathOfexile.exe again.
And then renaming PathOfExile.tmp to PathOfExile.exe
Now it definately moved on further in the proccess, than before.
So far so good. Its allocating space atm.
That's a step in the right direction. If you encounter any further issues, please feel free to let us know.
Thanks for your help, it seems to be working.
Just another issue, the update size is huge. I had around 10 free gig, that quickly got used and i had to free up another 10 gig, and start the patching again. Now thats also used up and theres still missing around 15% of the update.
I literally stripped that drive of everything but Path of Exile and windows.

If your game is on a SSD that is 90% full all the time, then performens will degrade VERY much. Dont fill a SSD above 75-80%.
Sorry for the delayed response. Are you able to complete this update considering the space limitations you have encountered?

Would you also be able to let us know what size your Content.ggpk file is (located within your main Path of Exile folder)? You should be able to find this out by right clicking the file then selecting properties.

It seemed for some reason, the whole game was downloading again, while the old installation was still there.
So ive had to delete everything, and im now downloading anew.

Thanks a lot. Once the new installation is complete, ill have to see if theres anything else i can strip to come down to those 75-80.
Ive had massive performance issues recently, and havnt been able to figgure out why. Maybe this is the answer. Thanks!
