So if the trade says 1 ex = 100 chaos, I pay 2 ex and 50 chaos for that item, right?

I've had people trade me exalted shards. Works, but until we can split them ourselves isn't going to be a solution for most people.

I always pay them in exShard, now that I can do it. I mean, half the value of an Exalted in orb is not a fixed price because of normal market fluctiation. 10 exShards are exactly what the seller is asking: half of an Exalted. If they want chaos, then make a chaos price.
I can understand for Mirror because of inflaction, but Exalted, so far, are not THAT pricy. |

the problem is that my exshards always AUTO combine into a full ex. for this ONE currency, i would actually like them NOT to. would make doing partial ex trades so much easier, especially in leagues where EX:chaos ratios are very volatile.

If they wanted different currency they could price it in different currency. Nobody complains about getting chaos, don't overcomplicate things lol. If you are not sure about chaos to ex ration open trade chat for a min and see how much people buy/sell them for and get an average. Or check sell/buy orders on trade site. Being wrong by couple c don't matter

" Unfortunately, that's how shards work. Currency Shards, like currencies, stacks. And, if the currency stack is full, they will automatically turn into a currency... which will stack. Unfortunately, as a player you don't really want for currency and currency shards to not stack. Think about how tedious is after a Heist to re-stack all the currency that did not stack because of the Contraband status... and now imagine it while you are mapping or, heavens forbid, doing a Delirium/Breach/Any other timing-gated content. I know Currency Tabs can keep currency shards unstacked. Perhaps that's another perk of having one... I'd say "more paid-gated content", but let's not be hypocrit. Everyone's gotta eat. |

" im not complaining about them stacking, but the auto combine at 20/20. and even in the currency tab, once you get 20 ex shards, it automatically becomes an exalted orb, you cannot stop this from happening. instead, i would like the currency tab to work like the essence/blight tab. you can stack as many of the low tier essence/oils as you want, and theres a button to 'upgrade' that lets you CHOOSE which to combine into higher tier.
