suggestion: Maven invitation on Breachlords - Way too hard for the intended mechanics

maven just doubles esh and tul and there is simply no place to go even with 100+ movement speed and they just instakill even with my inquisitor pumping defences and uul netol just chases you harder than anything else in the game playing this game over 5+ years...first time i am asking a nerf because the mechanics is way too broken for these bosses if GGG at least nerf the damage then it is all good Last edited by Dragoon_Diver#5241 on Jan 31, 2021, 7:27:32 PM Last bumped on Feb 19, 2021, 3:44:50 AM

fyi i am not talking about when maven witness the battle inside the breachstone
it is when you kill all them and then go to the special crucible thingy even defeating them on lvl 70 the game just upscale them to lvl 84 + awakening level i believe you need around a 60+ ex build to pull a deathless run on this encounter i wonder how the HC fellas think about this also i am 100% sure that GGG didn't even test this BS Last edited by Dragoon_Diver#5241 on Jan 31, 2021, 9:31:43 PM

Come on, it is side content, nothing essential drops there, you can sell invitation for the same price you would sell mavens writ splinters dropped there. I think its ok for side content to be whatever hard. Well unless you are from ssf then maybe. Also, all those encounters can be trivilized with glass cannon build by deleting enemies before anything wrong happens (thou i dont like this thing happening).

" u get 2 atlas points and those 2 points make a huge difference. | |

Esh is terrible, i agree. I tried them the other day and lost all portals because they tend to "spawn camp" you. Esh just instantly spams the room with lightning orbs and can nearly fill the whole room with her AOE attack.
I would say the fight is even more difficult if you play a melee character. As range you can atleast hit and run. (yeh yeh i know, melee in 2021) |

" I propose that so long as GGG insist on asshole mechanics of that nature that any such boss be required to list the minimum HP/regen/DPS totals needed to actually complete the encounter in lieu of a name. It's all the intended crowd cares about anyways. >.> ''The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't to search for meaning, it's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense. And eventually, you'll be dead.''

" kek i know sarcasm when i see it even if i could sell or just think "meh the orb or atlas passives aren't worth it", i just want to complete the encounter i even forgot to mention that aside the breachlords filling the room with their area spells - fire geyser/lightning balls/frost breath/bone spikes - Maven also summons her own area spells that deals degen or just keep chasing you and with so much effect on the ground is actually very hard to see all of them even when trying the best to avoid all of it, it is so easy to die to esh's shock nova while focusing on everything else meanwhile i can do UE, sirus and heart of the grove casually there is simply no excuse for such imbalance on this crucible fight Last edited by Dragoon_Diver#5241 on Feb 1, 2021, 6:31:31 AM

I agree on this.
4 Breach bosses have huge AOE with fast attacks. Unless we have crazy high DPS, this fight is really tough to survive. Please consider to decrease their DPS. Based on the fights (Maven's invitations) so far, GGG might need to reduce bosses' DPS on Maven's invitation on breachloards and Maven's invitation on 5 bosses (shaper, elder, atziri,..) There are 2 ways to solve the fight, neither of those requires 60 EX gear.
1) Have enough damage to take out either Tul or Esh immediately when they spawn. It's the combination of their AOE attacks that makes the fight so tough. If you can prevent both of them from being present on the arena at the same time, the fight is a cakewalk. 2) Be tanky enough to not give a shit about their attacks, even with all 4 present. That's pretty easy to do on some builds but impossible on others so it depends on what you are playing. The fight is tough no doubt almost as tough as the feared, maybe even more so for some builds, but it's supposed to be and it should be. There isn't much in terms of difficult content in this game to begin with and powercreep is rising higher and higher. End of this year we will all be laughing about the hidden because they evaporate within a second. |
