Multiple totem support "nerf"

Well, maybe it's a bug fix but feels like a nerf, but now your max totem count includes multiple totem support as well.
It used to be that you if you had a 4 max totem count, you can have 4 of your main totem from soul mantle, and still have 2 for wave of conviction if it has its own multiple totem support. Now you can't, your max count is applied globally. Sad trombone sounds... I still dont understand why hierophant got the totem nerfs in its ascendency... Last bumped on Jan 22, 2021, 11:09:04 AM

Hmm I just tried it again. One thing I didn't mention is that I have multiple totem support in both soul mantle as well as outside of it.
My max totem is 6 (1 normal + 1 ascendency + 1 soul mantle + 1 pursuit of faith + 2 multiple totem). I put down all 6 of my glacial cascade totems, then I press my WOC totem button and now I have 4 GC and 2 WOC. Would you mind testing again when you have a chance? " What you're describing is how Multiple Totems Support has always worked. The bonus is local to the linked skills. You have a global maximum of 4 totems, and both GC and WoC have a local maximum of 6 because both are linked to MTS. The reason you used to be able to do what you're describing is because only one of your totems was linked to MTS, and that skill had an additional +2 to maximum that your other totem skill did not have. |

Thanks for the clarification.
I just tried it without multiple support totem in my soul mantle and I can get 4 GC and 2 WOC. So I guess WTS raises your global limit to 6 for all the spells it is linked too. Sorry for the alarm! :P EDIT: The new placement speed makes spamming 2 totems not too bad, and in POB having 4 GC with another support is better DPS than 6 GC with MTS (about 8% in my case).
