Maven Orb "fix" was to much, you dont have to care for them ever again! :(

Before the maven orbs where fine, super slow and deadly. If you get hit by them u deserve to die. (i got hit by them too)

The Maven Orb explosion behaves like corpse explosion/ true damage? - get same dmg after immortal call proc, no chaos (CI) or elemental damage (GoE)

Before the Nerf they where ~6400 Damage each

Now you can stay afk and tank them without even dropping below 50%. ~2100 Damage each

The Maven abillity is useless and not dangerous anymore. It's like 66% LESS damage now (2100 vs 6400)

And yes i know most builds dont have 13k Life/ES. but for testing its a good ammount to try "burst" damage. Most builds have arround 6-8k Life/ES and will be able to facetank all 3 orbs brainafk now! and thats the main problem, the mechanic can be ignored by any built that reached red maps.

Additional: GoE TEST (Gluttony of Elements):
make elemental Damage heal me instead. Not working -> Conclusion: 0 Elemental damage involved

They can't hit it "just right" because there's so many other players to take into account. It will either have to be over the top, or a boring annoyance. This is the very nature of their game. They can't change it. If you want to find the prefect spot in the power scale, you have to adapt to the game. It can't adapt to you.

yes and they should balance them that you cannot jsut ignore them with any build that has more then 7000ES/Life.

Most builds don't have 14k ES u know...

2 of those orbs will still threaten an average build, 3 will kill him.

And this is assuming your estimations aren't counting any additional damage reductions your OP Standard build has.

i know, but isn't it kinda boring if any 6k life build can ignore the mechanic completely and just tank it now?

I am still not sure what dmg type it is, since immortal call, and map mods doesnt matter.. its just like he summon "suicid minions".

I made bow char that barely reach 6k life

But most SC glass cannon build is 3k 4k life......GGG want us to both tanky and have good dps, which is not that possible. (And if it is possible , they will nerf it just like aura stacker, res immortal build, infinite vaal skill build, Zerphi flask build, etc)

dmg reduction doesnt matter, as u can see that immortal call does NOTHING when reducing BOTH physical and elemental resistance.

Also i tried for the lols with negativ resistance, took again arround 2000-2200 damage per orb.

So yeah its a fixed damage ammount like a corpse explosion, you cannot block it, you cannot dodge it, you cannot evade it.

I try to get a Gluttony of Elements and proc that, if i still get dmg then we can 100% say its not Elemental (would heal me instead) nor Chaos damage (since i am CI).

I would argue the problem here isn't the amount of damage the balls do, but the speed of recovery this game allows us to have. The practically instant recovery we're allowed to attain in this game is why it's so balanced around 1-shots. The damage those balls do is fine for a game in which it takes you some time to recover that life, so if you want to make them more dangerous, I'd prefer they made them inflict a debuff that significantly reduces your life and ES recovery for a while after the hit.

More generally, this game seriously needs to reduce the speed at which players can recover lost life/ES/mana. Then we can finally begin the task of reducing and/or removing all the various 1-shots.

honestly i think they should be extremely high damage. they are slow moving, slow activating, extremely noticeable things you should OBVIOUSLY avoid at all costs.

in the announcements the clip of the guy "just trying to test the damage" and getting popped was the stupidest thing i've witnessed this month. you're going to stand still and facetank something in order to test its damage vs the hardest boss they just added to the game without knowing its damage capabilities?
sure...but then why test TWO balls? what an idiot. he deserved to die.

you see, GGG does great then they knee jerk react from the whiner tears which is the illusion of majority since they're the only ones not playing the game and moaning on the forums.

another great example is watch Empyrians latest video. ppl ask them in chat if they're afraid they're going to lose anything due to server issues. they all laugh, said they already lost a 10 exalt item (which there is a clip of, and they show), and they say something like 'what are you going to do? just not play? no, you just go again'

the difference in mentality is crystal clear. these guys who accomplish the most in the game are playing the game regardless of the issues and risk, and guess what? because of that they will always accomplish. but the people who lose a chaos orb and come to the forums for days on end to bitch about it...guess what? they don't accomplish.
gee i wonder why

yeah, i agree. compared to metamorph or delirium i see not many people ripping this league. so yeah now nobody will RIP cause the balls and sirus got nerfed to dead. :(

They should better hotfix the exploit that u can kill maven and ignore her mechanic with just loging out and come back.... this is a gamebreaking issue.. can't believe people can win a race with that... thats exploiting and cheating and should get fined in an tournament/race and not accepted...

I mean i personaly hate oneshots too, so i dont play hardcore... what don't get into my head is those people who play hardcore and then blame GGG if they die.... so they nerf stuff... DONT PLAY HARDCORE IF U CANT ACCEPT A RIP! jesus. i dont understand those guys.. is it just a ego problem they have? Why they play hardcore if they don't want a hardcore experience?
