4th Ritual not giving any tribute

Hello.

I encountered this bug 3 times (forgot to screenshot one though)

It was before today's patch, I'll edit if I encounter it again.

It only happened when 4 rituals where available on the map. The first tree would work correctly (though I observed a weird difference in tribute amount per ritual in one map).

When starting the 4th ritual, monsters appear, I would kill them, but they wouldn't give any tribute - the value would stay at what it was before starting the 4th ritual, and stay as is.

From what I've seen, we're most often prone to get higher-costing items when there are 4 rituals, so this problem also makes it difficult to even defer items, because the game offers higher-cost items while the amount of tribute is relatively low.

I didn't know about the /debug command, so I don't have the files, but I took screenshots for two of the occurences.

Edit:

Happened again after today's server patching, bug report reference:
3 706 025 272
In Armoury tier 5. Also observed the irregular tribute gain:
- 1st ritual : 920 tribute
- 2nd ritual ~1200 tribute
- 3rd ritual: ~500 tribute
- 4th ritual : 0 tribute.
All of them were done successfully, and with the map boss.

I just had this same issue. See details below.

I just ran an Academy map and didn't get any tribute for the last ritual. The map had 4 rituals in total. I checked my tribute after the 3rd one was complete and noticed I was only 30 tribute short of an item I wanted to redeem. I went and found the last ritual and completed it. I noticed while killing the mobs that the tribute counter at the bottom of the screen was not ticking up. After finishing the ritual I checked the rewards screen again and I was still 30 short. Not sure what caused the issue but here are some things I did while in the map. I ran to the map boss first and killed them. Then I worked my way back thru the map completing rituals as I went. The ritual site I finished at, was actually the 1st one I ran into when running the map normally. The boss was not in any of the rituals. Not sure if this has anything to do with the missing tribute, just thought it would be good to include. Bug Report # 3,347,748,538

Happend to me as well on scriptorium map.
I can confirm that all my 4th rituals experience this bug, no matter the map nor the juice. Basically all my 4th rituals do not award tribute for me. This is getting annoying as I'm basically locked out of the last batch of tribute for every 4th ritual. It is a shame since the monster density for the 4th ritual seems to be the highest, hence I'm missing out on all the potential tribute.

In addition to the no-tribute bug, I also noticed that there is also no new items dropping from the monsters slain during the 4th ritual (no new loot dropped from the 4th ritual altar after the monsters are slain. Yes I disabled my lootfilter to verify this.) Not sure if this is related to the no-tribute bug..

Updating post with the screenshots and debug info:

After 3rd ritual: ref number 2,348,995,263

Notice the tribute amount (2,728), number of rituals completed (3/4) and exp (1,511,669,134)
The uncompleted 4th ritual can be seen in the minimap, upper right of the map near this completed ritual.

After the 4th ritual: ref number 644,726,977

Tribute amount remains the same (2,728), number of ritual completed is now 4/4, but exp remains the same (1,511,669,134). I obviously did not die here, exp loss would not be covered the monsters from the 4th ritual

reposting my answer from the other thread:

happening to me too.

thrice so far. counter will just lock and killing monsters wont increase the count. after killing all the monsters the ritual finishes normally, but still no tribute.

relogging doesnt fix the issue.

Same here, but as an aditionnal info, I rarely get tribute from 4th ritual when i portal out of the map before doing the rituals. It may be unrelated, but that is the only cas where I noticed I got some tribute from 4th ritual.

E : as Jaketb5 said, i only do backwards rituals, from bossroom to entrance. And its still bugged right now for me and a friend I party with to map, whether we do maps alone or together, my map device or his map device.

EE : We did it guys !!

Ah, I'm "glad" to see I'm not the only one, as no one else seems to have the problem in my guild.

I did some testing, and realised a few things:

1) As Altair, mentionned, I observed that when the 4th ritual doesn't give any tribute, it also doesn't drop any item, nor gives any experience.

2) Since yesterday, I started to get tribute, loot, and exp again on my 4th rituals. The difference between what I was doing before and after is that before (when the 4th ritual didn't give anything), I was running the map and going to kill the boss first, and then going backwards on the rituals so that they all summon the boss. After, I started to run the rituals in the order I found them while mapping, and the 4th ritual always worked. But I haven't retried to backtrack, I'll test it today and edit this answer or create a new one.
This seems to be consistent with ItsBlinkey, as he said he rushes to the boss and then backtracks.
One other note I might add is that I didn't do the rituals in reverse order exactly, I usually did the boss one first, and then went back to the one I thought had the most monsters, and finished with the ones that had the least perceived monsters, so not entirely like ItsBlinkey.

The weird thing is, yesterday I found a map where the first ritual I found/walked on/killed monsters on was the boss one. So it was the 1st ritual I did on that map. The 4th ritual provided tribute, exp and loot normally. So either the bug is random or due to something else, and the backtracking/no backtracking thing was a coincidence (tested over about 4-5 maps each), or maybe the bug is related to the order in which the rituals are discovered and run

3) This started to happen after I started mapping, and may be related to 2), because I never backtracked during acts.

4) Two times, I got 4 rituals after using a blood-filled ritual vessel on a map(always with 1 unique boss or more inside). These two times, the 4th ritual worked properly. Though again, it might be related to 2), I don't remember if I backtracked or not.

Edit:
I also want to point out that I never had any problems with map that only had 3 rituals, no matter what I did (backtracking or not, or order of rituals), all 3 rituals always gave tribute. This problem only happened on maps that had 4 rituals.

Confirmed. Encountered at least 5 times, strictly on 4th ritual.
we try not to be dicks.
After some testing yesterday:

- Out of 3 maps with 4 rituals where I ignore the rituals until the last one (two with the boss on it, one without the boss), and then back-tracking for the other rituals (without a particular order), all maps ended up with the 4th ritual not giving any items or tribute

- Out of 4 maps with 4 rituals where I didn't ignore the rituals and did them as I found them (or explored a bit more until the next ritual, but did the rituals in the order I encountered them), the 4th ritual always gave tribute and items
Bumping this known issue. Same thing just happened in Channel map with 4 rituals. Someone in another thread said that it seems to be wanting you to activate them in order and if you backtrack, then tribute stops gaining. Hopefully this fix this relatively quickly.
