Awakened PoE Trade authorized ?

Can someone tell me if this software is allowed? or if he risks getting me banned?

There are many players claimed that they are banned due to that.

Either, they are lying, they are banned due to something else or they are not banned, just want to discourage player to use the overlay.


Or, the overlay have some function really trigger ban filter

The only 3rd party software I know has been approved is Yolo Mouse. The TCP Logout macro has also been approved, but I don't think any software using it has. Everything else, including Awakened PoE Trade, falls under the category of officially not recommended. As neohongkong mentioned there have been several reported accounts banned allegedly only using PoE Trade Macro. If the program itself or merely an aspect of it caused the ToS violation, I don't know. However I've read dozens of reports and strongly believe you risk the ban hammer by installing it.

In fact there are more plugin that the creator claimed that it is approved

Such as EE's levelling navigation tool and lab compass

The plugin merely read the location in-game by reading the chat log and generate an layout overlay / general direction to go


For trade macro, however, involve automated pm , such as auto reply so that i suspected that these flagged as botting . Or if price check that ddos the official trade site, for sure it is bannable too.

The only answers you'll really get are to email support, and support will tell you that they do not recommend using any tools.

For awakened PoE trade, while there isn't anything "against the ToS" atm that we know of, that dose not mean that it is fine...it DID get people banned a while back after the code was changed and it allowed people to spam the shit out of the trade API, so much so that trading was down for days...this resulted in GGG issuing bans, most of them were lifted but SOME were perma (those where a handful of accounts that were responsible for what amounted to a ddos attack)

The reason support will be vague about it is because any statement that it is OK would be used to wriggle out of a rightful ban and because the general amount of work that support needs to do to sort this out cause a fairly large knock on effect and weeks long support queues.

So, it's better to say they don't recommend it

There shouldn't be anything more recent than the first week that they DID ban for it (and that was quite a while ago now)
Anyone stating this recently should be ignored, it's typical cheater misinformation to try gain support and attention in an attempt to get unbanned.

Can't remember are there recent thread for Awakened PoE Trade (Since i read a lot of thread but don't bother to use search function)

So, the safe way to play this game is always no plugin or overlay

sure, i was banned 2 week last years because i use poe overlay.

From what i understand, but my english is very poor, poe overlay is using too much of the api resource made available by ggg.

I was wondering if this was the case for Awakened PoE Trade as well, as I see a lot of streamers using it.

It's still up in the air most of the people that were banned genuinely didn't seem like most of them were actually "guilty" so it seemed to be some false positives then leaving people with 1 ban appeal . Some actually unlucky and declined it seemed like so the choice is up to you whether you want to use these programs. Reddit will also encourage people to use these tools and say it's fine where as sometimes on these forums people say it deserves the ban, so it's open for your own interpretation tbh until GGG announces something (hopefully).
