Jack the Axe Is being re-released! My unique has gotten some love!

Just finished my patch notes reaction vid, boy am i excited!
"Jack, the Axe now has 130 to 150% increased Physical Damage (from 90 to 110%). It no longer has increased Attack Speed, Life Leech or Reduced Leech Rate. It now has +25 to 35% to Bleeding Damage over Time multiplier. It now also grants the Thirst for Blood skill. Its flavour text has been updated." I cant wait to get my hands on the new and improved Jack. The new Skill will make this axe very unique indeed. I was asked to not mention what it does, so will have to wait and see. I hope it breaths new life in to a much passed over unique and make the talking axe a part of others collections. Stay sane exiles. Now it will at least be good as a starting weapon for bleed builds.

I loved to play with Charan's sword, it's so nice to have a companion in your right hand that helps you not being alone all the time. Or at least that's what she (my Heist Ranger) said.
Jokes aside, I am glad to see there will be (hopefully) another possible choice on talking weapons since we only have yours and Oni-Goroshi. The only thing that concern me is the fact they changed its flavour text - hope you had a part in it and was not just all on GGG's side. Out of curiosity, have they asked you if you were ok with the changes? From what you said, it seems like GGG chose to change the weapon but did not inform you until the very least, and with a non-disclosure agreement. |

Ya that change really stood out to me in the patch notes. Looks like a decent weapon. Hopefully Jack retains his dialogue.

I found my first Jack the Axe in Heist; though it didn't fit my build at the time, I look forward to playing with it in Standard. I wonder if legacy Jacks will be upgradeable? =0[.]o=
