Scorch and Combustion Support
Been playing around secrets of sufferring, mostly scorch.
Does anyone know if res reduction by combustion still works with scorch, as long as technically skill doesn't ignite anymore? This is a buff © 2016 The Experts ™ 2017 Last bumped on Dec 16, 2020, 2:02:53 PM

Combustion will reduce fire resistances if an enemy is ignited by the supported skill. Since Secrets of Suffering does not allow your character to inflict Ignite, the net effect of supporting a Fire skill with Combustion would be only the x% more Fire damage. The extra ignite chance is wasted, and it will be impossible for you to trigger an ignite with that skill.
You can, however, rely on a minion (not a totem, not a trap, not a mine - those uses your skills as if you would use them yourself) in order to do the ignite - say, Raging Spirits. Not sure if Combustion can support Minion skills, though. |
