Maybe you have poison immu somewhere? Jewel works fine for me.

You need to say exactly what your problem is, and make your character profiles public. Otherwise no way to help. As Baharoth said, the jewel is working, so any problem is in how the jewel is interacting with other things in your build.

Golden rule self inflicted poison stacks do not increase chaos resistance. My character info still shows negative chaos resistance.

How are you inflicting poison?

I don't have to do this. All I need to do is take damage from poison. I think ;X

Yes, but waiting to be poisoned by a monster is not a reliable way to boost your chaos resistance. It doesn't happen often enough and the number of poisons on you will be low and not last long.
People who use Golden Rule normally have a poison build with 100% chance to poison, and they put up a lot of stacks. Also worth noting that GR does not work if you have poison immunity. (But ok with "unaffected by poison".) Also, it looks like you have a 40% chance to impale and a 50% chance to inflict bleed. (I could be off since I didn't go through a full configuration of your PoB.) But in general, it's much better to pick your method of boosting damage and go all in. Either 100% Impale or 100% bleed. Trying to scale two or more types of damage part way is usually not a good idea. Last edited by GreyLensman#5323 on Oct 23, 2020, 6:22:05 PM

Okey then, this jewel doesn't work when i take damage from enemies or poison ground but it works when I deal poison damage. Unfortunately, in both cases my character dies. So,please give me some advice on what to do to have chaos resistance for this build I'm using.I'm completely green at this. Thanks;)

First thing you need to know is that poison damage is a subset of chaos, but chaos is not poison. So chaos damage and ground effects are not causing poison on you.
You get chaos resistance in the same way you get elemental resistance, mainly through mods on your gear, and also a bit from the passive tree if you happen to be in the top half. But you don't need to max your chaos resist the way you do ele resists. Getting to 0% or a little better is usually ok unless you are doing certain content with high chaos damage. Also, for ES builds, there is the CI (Chaos Inoculation) option. CI makes you immune to chaos damage while reducing your life pool to 1. As far as Desecrated Ground, don't stand in it. |
