Black square in the center of the screen

Periodically a black square appears in the center of the screen. The bug is present on both Vulkan and Directx 11. I reinstalled the game 3 times, cleaned the graphics cache, nothing helps.

PC specifications:

CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 2600
GPU - MSI RTX 2060 Ventus
RAM - 2x 8GB G.Skill Aegis DDR4-3000
Motherboard - Asus Prime B350-Plus AMD B350
OS - Windows 10 Pro v.2004

could be bad fragmentation (as long as you'Re still using a HDD) or it's shadercache related.

Navigate to your POE Installation Folder and delete the Vulkan/DX11 Shader Cache Folder. After this the Gamestart could be take longer as usual to rebuild some of the shader.

If this doesn't help at all, make sure you did an integrity check of your gamefiles too!

I of course use SSD for Path of Exile. As I wrote above, I already tried deleting the cache folder, checked the integrity of the files, and completely reinstalled the game at least three times. I even tried to install the game from the Path of Exile launcher, nothing helped :(

This bug appeared after the next update of the Heist. Unfortunately, I don't know after which one exactly.

Just out of the Blue

Navigate to C:\Users\your-name\Documents\my games\Path of Exile
and delete the following Folders:

"Countdown"
"DailyDealCache"
"Minimap"
"MOTDCache"
"ShopImages"

Those Folders are "untouched" even after reinstalling.
Sometimes deleting the production_Config.ini will help too, but take in mind that you have to reconfig all your Keyboard/Graphic/Sound Settings after.

If your Problem still persist, clean install your GPU Driver (deinstall via DDU)
Also Updating Windows to the latest Version - Win 10 20H2 (old naming style = Win 10 2009) won't hurt too.

Did you already send the Bugreport, ID and screenshot/video included, to the Support?

I already deleted this folder. I will try to reinstall the driver, but I think the problem is in the game itself.
Should the report be sent in the game itself?

I have the same issue but i got a KFA2 2060 Super. newest windows, clean drivers and it only appears when im phasing
