How do Tempering Orbs work?
So tempering orbs add or change weapon enchantments, right? It looks like there are a lot of possible enchantments, and they are somewhat expensive right now. Do tempering orbs restrict their possible rolls to what is on the weapon? Or is it straight up random from all possible enchantments?

Well I bought a tempering orb and used it on my disintegrator staff. Got mana modifiers have +8% effect. There are no mana modifiers on that staff. I'm looking for physical. 60c down the drain.

Ah, I see. So those orbs applies the same enchantment Heist gave in Grand Heists, but at random.
So deluded. I hoped for Harvest enchantments. Those were pretty. |

It looks like the cost of these new orbs is so high and the result is so random that hitting %phys will cost me all my currency.
I would like to see more people reporting their results with tempering and tailoring orbs. |

Does anyone know if using these orbs reforges your weapon/chest? For example, you've hit good rolls on your weapon/chest and you want to apply a certain enchantment on it, it rerolls all the modifiers or it will keep them while applying the enchantment?

" They don't change affixes. It is possible for these orbs to reroll your sockets. They reroll sockets when they hit an enchant that changes your sockets. There are people who have broken their 6 links with the new orbs. Your modifiers are safe when using the tempering and tailoring orbs. |
