Uses for trigger flame dash when you use a socketed skill

A friend of mine found a dagger with this implicit

Are there any uses for it ? So far the best ive come up with is to use a curse in it but it keeps having a small casting curse delay evertime i flame dash

Use an instant skill like vortex? That would fix the delay.. not sure its useful though

It doesnt work, i guess it needs to be a targeted ability not just a cast on yourself

I'm guessing it doesn't work with instant skills because they target the user, resulting in zero distance to be travelled so the Flame Dash won't activate.

So it appears that you can only really take advantage of the Lvl 30 flame dash with an active skill that will have some sort of minor delay. Seems a bit clunky unfortunately :(

But at least that thing had insane stats to justify getting randomly teleported.

It's good with shield charge because it gives fortify but it's not clunky
