Unending Manacled Orb A weaponized Orb that is bound to the wrist of its holder rendering them unable to cause damage to their enemies -- "I do no harm; though, I destroy the world" Suggested mods Affix: 10-20% Mana Regeneration Suffix: 0.5% Faster Cast Rate per 2 character levels 0.5% Resist All per 2 character levels (ALL including chaos) 0.5% Mana Regeneration per character level 0.5 Intelligence per character level 0.5 Mana per character level One extra Totem One socket only. No reserve for gems in this item. Gems in this item use Blood Magic Gems in this item cost 500% more to cast. Cannot be used with Chaos Inoculation. Player's Armor and Evasion is 0. Not bad, but take off cannot use chaos inocculation and skills use blood magic. that's too restrictive. all the stat increases might be a bit over-powered. I don't know. Not a bad idea though!

... i dont see a use for this item. at all. it basically says "hi! im gonna leech all of your parties" now if it were something like; all spells +50% damage (applies to minions) all spells +100% casting speed (applies to minions in +100% movement/ attack speed) all spells +500% mana cost all spells +100% AoE (applies to traps/auras mana pool is reduced by 50% player takes 1% of their HP as damage every ten seconds when the player in under 10% health, the player enters berserk where HP is reuced by 10% per second (cannot go under one HP) and all stats are increased by 50% player cannot damage enemies with offensive spells or attacks (minions/traps/totems can do damage) would be MUCH better in terms of usability. making it so player does no damage is just...stupid. If you go to the Passive tree now there is a Passive called Ancestral Bonds (all the way on the left midway up.) It also disallows the player from doing damage and grants one additional totem. My HC witch does no damage and I solo end game maps. I can do damage either via totem or via minion but not directly. "Player Damage" is damage directly attributed to the player. In the case of totems and minions the damage is attributed to those entities and not the player. No damage builds are a blast to play. The Blood Magic is important to the item since with the 500% increased cost it forces a player to invest in life to use the gem in the item (reserves excluded). If this were used with CI it would be way OP. That restriction really must be there. The big setback is armor and evasion = 0. No physical damage reduction whatsoever. It forces a CI type of gear build as well as an investment in life. It does have a large downside in that way. Respectfully given, LoS |
