Regarding Sidekick, a popular third-party app

I’m not sure whether this is the right place to post this, but I just decided to go ahead with it.
A while ago, I was told that Sidekick, a popular third-party app, is very convenient and safe to use for price-checking and trade. So I dropped TradeMacro, another third-party app, and installed Sidekick. So far I have never had any problem with it. But recently, I have heard a disturbing news about Sidekick. It is said that recently, players using Sidekick have been banned from the game, all of a sudden. Hence, I would like to know whether Sidekick could be a reason for ban. GGG, please advise me on this. I love to play POE and I don’t want to be unfairly banned from the game. If you tell me to stop using Sidekick, I will do it right away. " All 3 party programs can get you banned as such. The problems with these programs is that maybe X% of the functions are ok, but then there a few that isn't = you get banned. Like automation that I know is in a lot of the "trade macro programs" --> press 1 key and your PoE client does this --> 1. Say "thx for trade in chat" 2. leave party This is automation and will get you banned...... |

Anyway, then, I should not use any third-party app if I am super worried about being banned. Or at least, I should stick to only the most basic functions of a third-party app such as price-checking. |

I have the same problem when they say I use a third soft stool, trade macro, botting, etc. But when I emailed support they told me to use them and my account was banned forever. It's great that you got banned without breaking any.

" Please provide proof that you have been told by GGG software that you can use 3. party software specificly because I know they don't this. So post pictures of the e-mail proving this and remember to remove "personal" information like your e-mail adress. |

Thanks HanSolo for your enthusiasm, I'm old enough to read about GGG's terms. And POE is not the first online game I play with the terms of using 3rd party software. For myself, I play for entertainment, not RMT so I use trade tools, botting is completely meaningless.
