Desperately in need of some way to lower game settings even further!

Are there any third party addons or anything like that? My in-game settings are all the way at the bottom, and I think it's safe to say PUBG is more optimized than PoE at this point.



My laptop is crap, but it legit runs WoW better than it runs PoE. Is there anything I can do??? I've had enough of running into enemies and then locking up to 1 FPS until I die.

There are, but it's against the ToS because it involves messing with the game files.

One thing people have reported is that there's not always an improvement in lower settings. Seems to be a different problem than you would expect.

But the only thing I can say is to try different resolutions. Your computer has to work harder at some than it does at others.

Yeah, pretty sure it's all lowered. I'll check those in a bit.

I have to reload the game (just had dinner) and the game routinely disconnects me 2 or 3 times while trying to log in for the first few times every new game session.

Dynamic culling disabled, dynamic resolution disabled, yes & yes.

I'm even running this "Vulkan" stuff, which seems to help, but overall, everything is... well, as bad as I described already.

Disabling particles, shadows, and bloom all massively boost performance based on what I've heard from people who have done that, and while it is supposedly incredibly easy with a tool that is just a google search away, it is also against the ToS. It's a shame that due to GGG's stubbornness on how the game MUST look for streamers, that people with eye or neurological problems worsened by bloom/excessive particles have to suffer unnecessarily, and also that anyone who doesn't like bright flashy lights or just wants better performance with less visuals can't do so without risking their account.

What Phrazz is trying to say with his ellipsis here is that Dynamic Culling and Dynamic Resolution both improve performance when enabled, not the other way around.

What, really? I guess I misread? Lol.

Well I'll try it out, turning them back on - I have low expectations, though. Let's see!
