Totems seemingly unaffected by slipstream aura
I was working on a build in PoB, and after equipping the torrent's reclamation, I couldn't help but notice that the action speed buff aura that the harbinger gives the player doesn't visibly change the attack speed of totems. I thought that this might've been a PoB bug, so I tested it out with summon skeletons, but the aura does indeed affect minions in the program.
This didn't make any sense to me. I know that totems do not inherit action speed from the player, but their personal action speed should still be affected by auras, right? After all, the watchtowers notable implies that their action speed can, in fact, be changed. After scouring the internet, I couldn't find a definitive answer. So, I decided to test it out myself. I eyeballed the attack speed of a couple of skills linked to the ballista totem support with and without the aura from the torrent's reclamation. I also made sure that there were no other active conditional attack speed buffs like onslaught. First, I observed galvanic arrow, then explosive arrow, then tornado shot. From what I saw, each skill was fired the same number of times before the totem expired, with and without the torrent's reclamation slipstream aura active. I'm wondering if this is a bug, and if not, why wouldn't the aura work with totems. As far as I'm aware, they do count as allies; https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Ally. If it isn't a bug, that'd mean that other than totem placement time, totem players gain 0 benefits from action speed auras in terms of DPS, since totems don't inherit this property from the player.
