POEPrices.info

Is it just me, or is this site pretty inaccurate?

I would assume that its "confidence score" would be based off of the likeness of items traded in relation to yours for what prices and select an average. Which it seems to do, unless there isn't enough information or the modifiers are not slapped on an item in a way it recognizes, or, has too many possibilities to make a guess at what the price would be.

But, I have found, that whenever I price check an item, on this site, and the "confidence score" is high, I usually list for a few chaos under what it suggest, but the items never seem to sell.

So I am now of the opinion, that it has no idea what is "good", or what people are actually paying for things. I have also found it to be far more accurate when pricing league items, than standard items. When it comes to standard items, it just seems to be a crap shoot.

I have however noticed that POE Ninja is a little more accurate and actually provides a history you can look at to see the track record of items and what they went for, to make a better educated decision on what to list for, which is nice.

But has anyone else had the same issue with POEPrices.info?

Instead of using that score look at the list of comparable items and see how they are priced and also how they actually compare. You can use checkboxes to select which mods are checked so you only check the useful ones on rares.

Ahhh, excellent advice. The site doesnt seem to want to do that, just spits out an empty result, but the overlay does it just fine and shows me the proper information. Thank you!
