Now deals base Damage and has an added Damage effectiveness of 125% at gem level 1 (from 140%), up to 170% at gem level 20 (from 196%).
Now has 2 to 3 added Attack Physical Damage at gem level 1, up to 75 to 113 at gem level 20 (previously had no added damage).
Now creates 7 spikes (from 6).
Now creates 2 additional spikes if you've changed stance recently.
Now deals 75% less Damage while in Blood stance (from 65%)
Now gains more area of effect while in Sand stance as the gem levels, up to 76% more at gem level 20.

I think with the added physical damage it can stay the same as before when it comes to Damage.
Well it looks like you do 1 add spike and they will hit more consistently.
We will see cause is a skill that I use and I really like it.
the single target got balanced on the assumption you'd be using all 9 I think which is ~ 2.25x damage (compared to the old 2.1)

however that is predicated on you having switching stance recently which feels a little like an unneccesary frustration but ehh w/e, will be fine for most content and they clearly trying to move it to the 1h/DW category with the flat added damage.
It already did 65% less in Blood Stance. Pretty sure it got buffed significantly, too lazy to do the numbers.

Getting more Spikes is HUGE for damage (just test it with a +2 Spikes helmet enchant in your PoB) and getting consistent clear in Sand Stance is also good.
