Does "adds X+Y damage against ignited enemies" apply for minions
|
The warlord's prefix does
"adds X+Y fire damage against ignited enemies" and also "X% chance to ignite" As it is not specified that it accounts for hits or attacks, does this mean it counts global? So also minions would have the additional fire damage, when an enemy is already ignited, and a chance to ignite? Last bumped on Jun 12, 2020, 4:09:41 AM

Minions only benefit from things that specifically say MINION...
Or....abilities that say "Monsters take more damage..." I.E. if it effects the monster, then anything done to the monster by anybody would get that effect. Any damage boosting effect, anything that boosts YOUR damage, effects that effect the player, DO NOT effect minions, unless it specifically says so. "adds x damage to ignited enemies" is a boost to YOUR damage, under a specific circumstance, so NO, it would not work for minions. an exampl of something that DOES work on minions when you use it, is maim support gem. "Enemies Maimed by Supported Skills take (10-14)% increased Physical Damage" Note the language, "Enemies....take.....increased phys damage" the enemy is what is effected, as opposed to "adds ....damage....for whatever circumstance" Last edited by Odif#4251 on Jun 11, 2020, 7:22:22 PM

Anything that specifies "allies" also applies to minions, though that's rather infrequent.
I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German.

When on a weapon all damage mods are exclusive to attacks unless specified elsewhere. When on any other gear all damage mods are global unless specified otherwise. Others have summed up what affects minions so listen to them. :D
